Current CitySalt Internal Volunteer Opportunities - Fall 2025

Giving of ourselves is an important part of worship. There are many wonderful places to volunteer within our community and many opportunities to join fellow CitySalt members in serving outside of our church. These are specific areas of need you can join to help within CitySalt to participate and support the ministry.

  • Kids Ministry* - Toddlers
    Volunteer once per month to help care for and play with babies and/or toddlers (usually 1-3 littles per week) during our Sunday service. This is in our children's rooms in the Trauma Healing Project. You’ll walk over with the group after the worship music.

  • Kids Ministries* - Elementary
    Volunteer once per month to lead a lesson and activities for a group of elementary school aged children (usually 3-6 kiddos per week) during our Sunday service. This is in our children's rooms in the Trauma Healing Project. You’ll walk over with the group after the worship music.

  • Worship Team - Sound
    Volunteer once per month to manage the sound system during worship practice and throughout the service. Responsibilities include setting up for music practice (Typically 2 pm) and clearing the stage of sound equipment after service.

  • Kitchen Hospitality Team
    Volunteer once per month to join an existing team for set-up (arrive about 45 minutes before service) and after service clean-up of our drinks and snacks station that we have available during our Sunday service.

  • Building Support - Sunday Set Up
    Volunteer once per month to reset our worship space from how it’s been used by various rental groups for our Sunday Service needs. Arrive early to move tables, chairs, signs, and decor. Moving everything but sound equipment and kitchen hospitality.

  • Building Support - On Call Maintenance Team
    Share your fixer-upper skills with light repairs around the facility as needs arise. There is always a wall ding to patch, graffiti to paint over, weeds to pull, air filters to swap out, light bulbs to change, and general fixing/improving to address as needed.
