We value and promote the support of ministries that serve the mission of Christ, both in our community and around the world.

We seek to share the message of God's love and hope through practical service that is relational, sustainable and expandable. We believe outreach ministry is multi-faceted and may include giving money, effort an/or time to meet physical, educational or spiritual needs of people. We invite you to prayerfully consider giving, praying and serving the following serving efforts. You can make a tax-deductible donation by placing your gift in a regular Sunday offering, giving online, by text or by sending contributions to address below. For more information about outreach and serving opportunities, you may contact Pastor Mike D’Eliso at mike@citysalt.org.

Local Serving: 15th Night (Year-Round)

Once a month CitySalt Church partners with the City of Eugene's 15th Night to feed our local youth experiencing homelessness by providing dinner for 15-30 youth. Members of our congregation can help by donating to our Homeless Youth Meal Outreach Fund (click here to give) or by providing part of a coordinated meal. Volunteers gather to prep the meal which is then delivered to 15th Night.

Local Serving: Everyone Village (Year-Round)

CitySalt supports the work of Everyone Village, whose goal is to bring hope and healing to people living on the margins, particularly those who are experiencing homelessness. Everyone Village collaborates with local government, business leaders, and non-profit service organizations in extending the capacity of safe, legal shelter for unhoused people in Eugene.

As a church CitySalt actively seeks opportunities to interact with and engage in projects that help Everyone Village further their mission to support the unhoused people of Eugene.

Local Serving: Thanksgiving Meal Boxes (November and December)

CitySalt expresses love and generosity by providing Thanksgiving meal boxes and additional meals during the holiday season to disadvantaged high school kids and families in the area (including any families you may personally know). We hope to bless these families who for financial reasons are not able to afford a special meal on Thanksgiving and need extra food support during the Winter Break. The boxes include everything needed for a delicious dinner, from salad to dessert. Opportunities to serve include donating money (click here to give) and distributing the boxes a few days before Thanksgiving.

Global Serving: Lee & Lisa Schabel - Latin America (Year-Round)

Lee and Lisa Schnabel have served in Latin America with Foursquare Missions International for nearly 20 years.

Currently, Lee is the Assistant to the Area Missionary for Central and South America with his primary focus being on leadership training. Lee and his team of CAPAZ facilitators have developed an in-service training program called “Leaders for the Harvest” that operates in Bolivia, Chile, Nicaragua and Peru.

These programs cover subjects from how to do inductive Bible study to learning how to pray effectively for healing. As a result of these classes, some pastors are seeing increased growth in their churches and greater spiritual impact in their local communities.

Lee and Lisa have three married sons, and are enjoying their two grandsons.

Global Serving: Compassion First - Indonesia (Year-Round)

CitySalt supports the outreach efforts of Compassion First which is a front-line Christian humanitarian organization that serves victims and survivors of sex-trafficking in Indonesia.  They provide aftercare, legal advocacy and law enforcement training, so that victims and survivors can regain their self-worth and live a future according to their highest personal potential.

Compassion First’s primary operations are provided through Ruth’s House, the first full service aftercare facility for sexually trafficked girls in Indonesia—a country whose victims are severely under-served.  Ruth’s House is a 24-hour secure, staffed facility currently providing critical services to some of the world’s most vulnerable. Our care includes ongoing medical, dental and psychological care, spiritual care and mentorship, progressive athletic and/or alternative activities, and an education to each child.
