Serving
We seek to find ways within our means to serve practical needs of individuals and organizations in our local community and beyond in a way that is relational, sustainable and expandable.
This can happen in all kind of ways as we work together to share generously what God has given us including our time, energy, effort, and material and financial resources.
Below are a few of the ways that we join together to regularly serve.
15th Night
CitySalt Church supports the work of 15th Night by supplying a meal for unhoused and at-risk youth. Members of our congregation gather monthly to make burritos or deli sandwiches for 30-40 youth. Come help make meals, sponsor ingredients or donate to our Homeless Youth Meal Outreach Fund.
ECCO
Annually, CitySalt supports students and families through ECCO (Early College and Career Options) High School with Thanksgiving meal boxes and Winter Break grocery boxes during the holiday season. Our annual fundraiser is held each fall. Thanksgiving meal boxes are sourced through our friends at the OneHope Church Network. In addition to financially sponsoring boxes, there are opportunities to serve by volunteering to pack food boxes and transport boxes to the school.
As a member of The Foursquare Church, CitySalt supports the work of Foursquare Disaster Relief. If you are looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of people in crisis and need around the world, click on the link below to learn more and consider giving to Foursquare Disaster Relief to bring hope and healing to those most impacted by disaster, in the U.S. and the world. They partner with local churches in affected areas to supply food, water, shelter, and care.
