If you’ve spent any time at CitySalt Church in the last few years, you know what a blessing Abby Wilday is to our community. Over the years, Abby has overseen our kids’ church and camps, led and pastored our worship team in front and behind the scenes, taught us, guided us in creative activities to learn, love, and worship the Lord, and loved, encouraged, and prayed with many of you. On October 4th, during our regular service time, we are celebrating and making it official! Pastor Abby is being ordained as a minister in the Foursquare Church.

A pastor friend once said that ordaining someone as a pastor is giving a name to what someone is already doing. Abby has been pastoring most of her life. Now, she not only serves our congregation well, she is also a chaplain to at-risk young people in our greater Eugene community.

As part of our worship service on Sunday, October 4th, join our celebration as we pray for Abby and recognize and honor God’s call on her life.

This also coincides with our First Sunday Supper, so stay after service to enjoy a meal with family and friends. If you are able, plan to bring a food item to share.
