CitySalt is a charter member of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (aka - The Foursquare Church). As per our governing bylaws, our senior pastor is ultimately responsible for the spiritual life of the church, yet the church council represents members by overseeing the fiscal stewardship of church resources as it relates to financial oversight, decision-making, and record-keeping. In addition to the senior pastor and treasurer, the church council consists of six members that must be ratified by the general membership body and serve for a two-year term.
Presently, three of our six CitySalt council members have completed their two-year term of service and three new candidates have been nominated as qualified candidates for these open seats.

2019-2020 Council Candidates:
Colby Sheldon - Colby and her husband Terry have been part of CitySalt since 2010. She has been an integral part of our hospitality team, women’s ministry, and intercessory prayer team. She has been a “native” Oregonian since she was 4 years old, and works as an International Student Advisor at Lane Community College. She and Terry live in North Eugene and have two grown children. They enjoy camping, kayaking, fooding, spending time with family and friends, and adventuring together.
Bob Kettwig - Bob and his wife JoVone have been part of CitySalt since 2013. He has previously served on the church council and you will often find him serving on the hospitality team. Bob has recently retired from the City of Springfield as an Engineer in the Public Works/Planning department. He enjoys traveling, photography, scooters, tasty food, quality coffee and making pizzas for friends in his backyard pizza oven. Bob and JoVone live in Springfield and have three grown children.
Giehl King – Giehl (pronounced “Gheel”) and his wife Sarah moved from Philadelphia to Oregon in 2016. He currently serves on the music ministry team as a sound tech. Giehl works as a handyman/contractor and enjoys helping people with a full range of household projects. He and Sarah live in North Eugene along with their son Isaiah and four rescue animals. For fun, you might find Giehl training at the local Ninja gym with Isaiah, hanging out with the family, walking their dogs, or climbing at the local bouldering gym.
CitySalt members are asked to prayerfully consider the nominations that will be presented to our membership for ratification as a part of our Year-In-Review Service and Annual Business Meeting at our next Big Table Sunday, April 28th.
